Bahamut Blockchain Concludes Successful Showcase at Consensus 2025 in Toronto
Bahamut Blockchain successfully wrapped up its participation at Consensus 2025, one of the world’s premier blockchain and Web3 events, held in Toronto from May 14 to 16. Over the course of the event, Bahamut attracted significant attention at Stand N2806, where visitors explored its Layer 1 infrastructure, ecosystem advancements, and upcoming roadmap.
As a next-generation blockchain platform, Bahamut demonstrated the value of its unique Proof of Staked Activity (PoSA) consensus mechanism. This novel model rewards validators not only for staking but also for actual smart contract activity, offering a fair and transparent way to incentivize meaningful network participation. This innovation captured the interest of developers, investors, and enterprise representatives looking for scalable and equitable blockchain solutions.
As part of the broader Consensus experience, Bahamut served as an official hackathon partner for the EasyA Consensus Hackathon, which took place during the main event. With over 1,000 participants, the hackathon featured three dedicated Bahamut tracks, AI x Onchain, Cross-Chain Innovation, and a Bonus Bounty, with a total prize pool of $50,000 - split evenly between $25,000 and $25,000 in FTN tokens. Pavel Aramyan of Fastex and the Bahamut Foundation delivered a keynote speech to inspire the next wave of builders.
Throughout Consensus 2025, the Bahamut team engaged with builders, enterprises, and ecosystem partners to discuss scalable infrastructure, ecosystem growth, and the future of Web3 applications. From live demos to one-on-one conversations, Bahamut strengthened its position as a developer-first blockchain.
